中絶ストーリーを女性がシェアするためのオンライン・プラットフォーム
中絶を受けて1年経って、アンジェラ・クーパーは、恥の感情をおもいだした。恥だけではなく彼女がそんな風に感じることにショックを受けた29歳で、リベラルでプロ・チョイスの家庭に育ち、性教育の教員として働いており、公にリプロダクティブ・ライツを支持していたのにである。彼女は、もし誰かが中絶を受けるのに現実的であるなら、それは彼女のはずだった。それはそんなふうに行かなかった。アンジェラは、のちに自分のストーリーを「中絶のスティグマと誤った情報に狙いを付けて」リプロダクティブ・ヘルスの周りに「語りを変える」ための新しいオンライン・プラットフォーム開設した若い創立者に話した。

パレスティナの女性と少女は、数多くの困難と挑戦に直面している。継続する占領と安定した政府の欠如や高い失業率は、貧困と不平等に到っている。より保守化する社会と伝統的な家父長的な文化は、ジェンダー間の不平等を増し、セクシュアル・リプロダクティブ・ヘルスケアへのアクセスを欠いている。現行の中絶法は女性たちに、安全でないやり方で望まない妊娠を終わらせようとすることで、生命と健康を危うくしている。

中絶日記は、中絶を取り巻く恥やスティグマや秘密や孤立に反し、個人のストーリーを一般化し、共有し、そして受容しながら声をあげる人々のための空間である。世界中の人々は、個人的なストーリーをシェアすることが出来、彼女たちの中絶を巡る個人的な経験や選択について証拠をあげて、他の人々を力づける。
